We have broad experience in civil litigation, including trials and appeals. We've represented clients across the country, including cases in state or federal court in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, and Georgia. Our work includes medical malpractice, breach of contract, business torts, negligence,personal injury, and bank negligence.
We've represented clients before the U.S. Courts of Appeals, the Pennsylvania Superior Court, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
In addition, whether we're acting as lead counsel, supervising counsel, or local counsel, our lawyers have extensive experience working collaboratively with law firms from across the country, including California, New York, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Florida.
Andrew Kennedy, who is a member of the mediation panel of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, also acts as a Neutral, mediating civil cases pending in state and federal trial courts.
Insurance Recovery
We have recovered millions of dollars for policyholders in disputes with their insurance carriers. We have experience in negotiating with carriers on behalf of policyholders, and suing carriers for coverage and for bad faith under 42 Pa.C.S.A. Sec. 8371.
We've also championed the right of policyholders to fully pursue bad faith cases by assigning them. The state Supreme Court agreed in a case where we were co-counsel for United Policyholders in Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Company v. Wolfe, 105 A.3d 1181 (Pa. 2014).
We also advise businesses on insurance coverage issues and planning.

We offer a wide array of services for business clients. Those include advising elder care facilities on regulatory compliance and licensing, sale of businesses, appealing local land use decisions, employment contracts and separations from employment..
Our health care law experience includes those clients in elder care, skilled nursing, and radiation oncology.
We also assist clients in government relations, from local governments in land use, state and federal government agencies in compliance and licensing.
We have represented owners in sales of their businesses, advised companies in commercial lending, and represented landlords and tenants in commercial leases.
Probate, Wills, Injury, & Personal legal services
Our personal legal services include representing estates in probate proceedings, preparing wills and representing individuals in unemployment compensation hearings. We represent executives regarding employment contracts and separations. We represent individuals who have been injures in accidents. We also offer flat fee initial consultations for individuals who may be unsure of what kind of legal representation they need.
